Provider Recruitment

Referral software for growing
your provider network

Give your providers a link to invite qualified peers. GrowSurf keeps track of who referred each applicant, and the referral counts once your team approves the new provider.

How It Works

From peer invitation
to a rewarded referral

GrowSurf keeps track of who invited whom and pays the reward you set. Credentialing and approval stay with your team. Here is what happens when a provider refers a peer.

  1. Step 1

    A provider invites a peer

Every provider in your program gets their own invitation link, right inside your provider portal. They share it by email, text, or wherever they already talk with colleagues.

  2. When a peer applies through that link, GrowSurf remembers who sent them. That connection holds even when credentialing takes weeks, so the right provider gets credit later.

  3. Credentialing, licensing checks, and the final decision stay with you. When the applicant reaches the milestone you chose, such as completing onboarding, your onboarding system or CRM lets GrowSurf know. That is the moment the referral counts.

  4. GrowSurf lines up the reward you chose for the referring provider, and for the new provider too if you want. You can have someone on your team give a final okay before anything goes out. Then the reward is sent automatically or by your team.

Built for the three teams
that run provider recruitment

Marketing runs the invitations, engineering connects your systems, and operations gives the final approval. Each team gets its own piece, and credentialing never leaves your systems.

Marketing

Invite providers without waiting on engineering

Launch a branded referral portal and referral emails on your own. Providers see their invitation link, who they have invited, and where each referral stands, all in one place. Promote the program from the CRM and email tools you already use.

Engineering

One small connection to your onboarding system

Tell GrowSurf when an applicant is approved, and that is it. Do it from your onboarding system with the REST API, through a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce, or with Zapier. GrowSurf can send updates back with webhooks so your own records stay current.

Operations

Final say on every reward

Turn on manual approval so a person on your team confirms each new provider before any reward goes out. If an application is withdrawn, leave the reward unapproved and nothing is sent. Every provider has a full history you can review at any time.

Notes and related links
  • You decide who qualifies. GrowSurf tracks who referred whom and handles the reward. Credentialing, licensing, and approval decisions stay with you.
  • Not patient referrals. This is for recruiting providers. It does not route patients between providers, and it is not an applicant tracking system.
  • Check incentive rules first. Ask your compliance or legal team which rewards are appropriate for provider recruitment before you set them up. GrowSurf does not provide that approval.
Any Questions?

Provider recruitment FAQ

No. GrowSurf tracks recruitment referrals: an existing provider invites a peer to join your network, and GrowSurf records who referred each applicant. It does not route patients, manage clinical referrals, or perform credentialing. Your onboarding and credentialing systems keep those responsibilities.

You decide. A referral can count when an application is submitted, when onboarding is approved, or at another onboarding milestone you define in your own system. Your system confirms the milestone and reports it to GrowSurf, which then records the successful referral and applies the configured reward.

Through an integration. Your onboarding system or CRM sends the qualifying event to GrowSurf with the REST API, a CRM integration such as HubSpot or Salesforce, or an automation tool such as Zapier. GrowSurf matches the event to the referred participant and marks the referral as successful.

Yes. You can require manual approval so a reward is reviewed before fulfillment. Reviewers see who referred whom and when the referral qualified, then approve the reward or leave it pending. Approved rewards can be fulfilled automatically through an integration or handled by your team.
