With GrowSurf syncing into a GetResponse list, each contact’s referral link and progress are custom fields. One newsletter then serves the whole list, each reader seeing their own link.

The same tags work in autoresponders, which keep asking every new contact rather than only the people on the list today.

## Integration Steps

### Confirm the fields are syncing

The GetResponse integration card in GrowSurfGetResponse lives in Program Editor > 4. Options > Integrations.

Open a synced contact in GetResponse and check the GrowSurf fields before you build the message.

### Make the referral link visible

Use `[[grsf_share_url]]` as the href and as the visible text. People copy what they can read.

### Add progress as a second line, not the headline

`[[grsf_total_referral_count]]` and `[[grsf_next_milestone]]` personalize the ask, but a new contact has neither. Write the sentence so it still works at zero.

### Put the prompt in an autoresponder

An autoresponder keeps asking every new subscriber without you sending anything again. Change the reward in GrowSurf and the next sync updates the values in place.

## Tips

#### Double brackets, exact names

`[[grsf_share_url]]` resolves. Any variation renders empty.

#### Milestone text is conditional

It is populated only on programs using milestone rewards with Next Milestone text configured.

#### Send a test to a synced contact

Previewing against a non-contact address cannot resolve custom fields.
