GrowSurf adds and updates people in Marketo and fills in 15 lead fields holding each participant’s referral link, referral counts, referrer details, and milestone progress.
Marketo is the one integration in this family with no list or tag to choose. Once connected, GrowSurf writes to your instance directly, and you decide what to do with the data using smart lists and smart campaigns.
GrowSurf needs your Client ID, Client Secret, REST API Endpoint URL, and Identity URL. The Client ID and Client Secret come from a custom service under Admin > Integration > LaunchPoint; the REST API Endpoint URL and Identity URL are listed under Admin > Integration > Web Services. Adobe’s guide to creating a custom service walks through the first half.
Open Program Editor > 4. Options > Integrations and search for Marketo.

Expand the card, paste all four values, and submit.

Once connected, GrowSurf adds or updates people in Marketo every time a participant joins or gets referred. Connect before you import participants — the sync covers people added from that point on. If they are already in the program, use the existing-participant sync options.

These are ordinary lead fields, so smart lists can filter on them and emails can print them with {{lead.*}} tokens.
The credentials sit under LaunchPoint and the URLs under Web Services. Collect all four before you open the GrowSurf card.
Open one person GrowSurf has already synced and confirm the field names and values there. Building a filter against a field you have actually seen beats building one from a table.
{{lead.GrowSurf Total Referral Count}} separates advocates from everyone else, which is the segmentation most referral programs actually need.
Client ID, Client Secret, REST API Endpoint URL, and Identity URL.
Neither. GrowSurf writes people to your Marketo instance directly, and you segment with smart lists.
{{lead.GrowSurf Share URL}}.
Launch a refer-a-friend or affiliate program that lowers your acquisition costs and builds customer loyalty, with little engineering work.
