When that balance cannot cover a reward, GrowSurf keeps the reward but the winner never gets the email — which looks to them like the program is broken. This guide covers how funding works, what GrowSurf can and cannot see, and how to resend rewards that failed without paying anyone twice. ## Integration Steps ### Fund the balance from the Tremendous card Open **Program Editor > 4. Options > Integrations** and select **Add Funds** on the Tremendous card. That opens Tremendous, where you add money and manage payment methods. Gift cards and prepaid cards cost face value — Tremendous does not take a cut on top. ### Know what one balance covers Your team has one Tremendous account and one balance, shared by every program that has Tremendous turned on. Budget against the total across programs, not per program. The balance can be held in USD, EUR, or GBP regardless of the currency a reward is sent in. ### Let GrowSurf warn you early GrowSurf reads your Tremendous balance so it can warn you when funds look too low to cover a reward. It cannot see or use your payment methods, and it only spends the balance on rewards you configured. ### Recover a reward that failed When a reward email cannot be sent, GrowSurf emails the program owner, and the reason appears on the participant’s detail page and in their activity log. The usual causes are a balance that is too low, an account that has not been approved yet, a dynamic reward rule that matched nothing, or a recipient email address Tremendous rejected. Fix the cause, then select **Retry Rewards** on the Tremendous card. GrowSurf checks each reward against Tremendous before resending, so a winner is never paid twice. ### Check the redemption still looks right The Tremendous redemption page showing the reward amount and a Redeem buttonA resent reward lands on the same redemption page as the original. An unredeemed reward stays available until it expires, and until then the funds stay in your balance. The expiration date is shown in the reward email the winner received. ## Tips #### Top up before a campaign push, not after Rewards fail at the moment they are unlocked. A launch email that lands on an empty balance turns your best referral day into a support queue. #### Reconnecting does not reset anything If GrowSurf loses access, the card shows a **Reconnect** button. Reconnecting keeps your balance, company details, and approval status. #### Disconnect is per program Selecting **Disconnect** turns Tremendous off for that program only. Your account, your balance, and your other programs are untouched. To remove GrowSurf’s access entirely, disconnect from inside Tremendous.
