You approve commissions in GrowSurf, GrowSurf builds the payout batch in your Wise Business account, and you fund it in Wise. Each affiliate claims their payout to their own Wise account in their own currency. GrowSurf never sees or stores bank details. An affiliate confirms only the email address on their Wise account, and Wise handles everything after that. Wise payouts are available on affiliate programs only. For referral program cash rewards, use [PayPal](/integration-guides/paypal-referral-reward-payouts/) instead. ## Integration Steps ### Check the two requirements first - A **Wise Business** account. Personal Wise accounts are not supported. - An **affiliate program** in GrowSurf. Payouts come out of your Wise Business balance. Wise charges its transfer fee to you on top of each payout, so the fee never reduces what the affiliate receives. ### Create a Wise API token In Wise, go to **Settings > Connect and manage apps**, scroll to **Developer tools**, and open **API tokens**. Select **Add new token**, name it *GrowSurf*, and choose **Full access**. You can also restrict the token to GrowSurf’s IP address; the [Wise setup docs](https://docs.growsurf.com/integrations/wise) list the current one. ### Connect Wise in GrowSurf Open **Program Editor > 4. Options > Integrations** and search for Wise. Searching for Wise in the GrowSurf Program Editor integrations listWise appears in the integrations list on affiliate programs. Expand the card, paste the token, and select **Connect**. The Wise API token field in the GrowSurf Program EditorPaste the token into the Wise card and select Connect. That is the whole setup. You can optionally customize the confirmation page and the payout destination email under *Show advanced settings*; both are shared across every payout method you enable. ### Let affiliates choose Wise and confirm where to be paid Affiliates pick Wise as their payout method in their portal settings. When a payout is coming, GrowSurf emails them a link to confirm their payout details. Your Payouts page then shows who is ready to be paid — and lists anyone who has not finished setup separately, so they never silently hold up a batch. ### Run the payout On the program’s **Payouts** page, select the **Pay N Affiliates** button — it names how many are eligible right now — then review the affiliates and amounts and confirm. Sign in to Wise and open the paused payments task on the home page. Find the GrowSurf batch, select **Review**, check the amount, and continue to **Pay for this batch**. Choose how to pay, review Wise’s fee and the total, and select **Finish and pay**. Wise then emails each affiliate a secure claim link. GrowSurf marks the commissions paid only after Wise reports the transfer completed. ## Tips #### An unclaimed payout is cancelled after 7 days Wise gives the affiliate one week to claim. After that Wise cancels the transfer and refunds you. Tell affiliates to expect the Wise email so it does not sit unopened. #### Never create a matching payout by hand in Wise If a payout looks stuck, resolve it in GrowSurf. A separate transfer created directly in Wise can pay the same affiliate twice, and GrowSurf has no way to reconcile it. #### Wise and PayPal can run side by side On an affiliate program each affiliate picks their own method, and batch payouts group each method separately. You do not have to standardize the whole program on one rail. Referral program cash rewards go through PayPal. #### Who pays the Wise transfer fee? You do, on top of each payout. The affiliate receives the full commission amount. #### Which currencies are supported? Payouts follow Wise’s own supported currencies and countries, and the affiliate receives the money in their local currency. #### What happens if a payout fails? It stays visible on the Payouts page and can be retried.
