How to Track Wise Affiliate Payout Status in GrowSurf

Connect Wise first

The webhook reports on transfers GrowSurf created, so the integration has to be connected on the affiliate program first.

Create the webhook in Wise

In Wise, go to Settings > Connect and manage apps, scroll to Developer tools, and open Webhooks. Select Create a new webhook, name it GrowSurf, use the webhook URL from the Wise setup docs, and subscribe to Transfer update events.

Read the statuses on the Payouts page

The program’s Payouts page groups payouts by status — Upcoming, Queued, Issued, Failed, and Reversed. A funded payout sits in Wise waiting for the affiliate, and GrowSurf keeps it pending until Wise reports the transfer completed. That is the gap the webhook closes.

Know what the affiliate sees

Wise emails the affiliate a secure claim link, then again when the payout is sent and when the money lands. If they already have a Wise account they can claim it to an eligible balance. An unclaimed payout is cancelled and refunded after 7 days.

Clear a payout that needs review

A payout can stay under Queued with a status of Needs review. GrowSurf will not resend it until the earlier transfer is resolved, which is what stops a double payment. Use Check Wise status to re-examine the earlier transfer; when it is safe, the action changes to Retry via Wise and GrowSurf resends it.
